Why location matters in Ubud
Ubud is not one compact neighborhood. Accommodation extends through surrounding villages, rice-field areas and hillside roads, while many restaurants and activities are concentrated around a busy centre. A scooter can be convenient for experienced riders, but the route from a villa may be very different from the main road shown on a map.
Before booking, check whether the final lane is paved, steep or accessible by scooter. A delivery map pin and a photo of the entrance can prevent confusion. If you are new to riding in Bali, do not use a crowded central area as a place to learn.
Traffic, parking and day trips
Central Ubud traffic is often slow and parking is limited. Leave extra time, use designated parking and avoid blocking shop or residential entrances. A compact automatic scooter is generally easier to place in small parking areas than a large motorbike.
For trips beyond town, weather can change quickly between lower and higher areas. Carry rain protection, keep a charged phone and avoid an ambitious multi-stop route late in the day. Rice-terrace roads and village junctions require attention even when traffic appears light.
Daily, weekly and monthly options
A daily bike rental is suitable for a short, focused itinerary. Weekly hire gives you continuous transport for activities, meals and accommodation transfers. Monthly rental is popular with remote workers and longer-stay guests who need the scooter every day rather than only for excursions.
For long-term bike rental in Ubud, confirm the support process and tell us where the scooter will normally be kept. Secure, sheltered overnight parking is preferable, especially during the rainy season.
Delivery from Tabanan to Ubud
Ubud is farther from our Kerambitan base than Tabanan’s coastal areas, so delivery is arranged according to the schedule, distance and length of the booking. Send complete dates and the exact accommodation pin so we can give a clear answer.
Do not assume that every Ubud address has easy vehicle access. We may agree on a nearby meeting point when a villa is reached only by a footpath or a very narrow lane.
What is included with the rental
- An automatic scooter cleaned and checked before handover
- Up to two helmets during the rental period
- Direct WhatsApp support from the Bali Two Wheels team
- Delivery and collection confirmed according to the booking location
Published prices and model availability depend on the selected scooter and dates. Confirm the complete arrangement before building transport plans around a particular model.
Ride responsibly in Bali
Use a valid licence, wear a correctly fitted helmet and make sure your personal insurance covers scooter riding. Do not ride when inexperienced, tired or impaired. Follow local rules, slow down for changing road conditions and choose alternative transport whenever riding would not be safe.
